South Africa ‘committed’ to reviving textiles and clothing industry

The South African government has named textiles and clothing among sectors it wants to specifically focus support on during the covid-19 pandemic.

The Deputy Minister of Trade, Industry and Competition, Fikile Majola, said the retail clothing, textile, footwear and leather (R-CTFL) industry is critical to driving the economy.
