Chinese firm first to license PET recycling tech

China-based Zhejiang Jianxin Jiaren New Materials has become the first company globally to acquire a licence for use of Repeat’s chemical recycling technology for polyethylene terephthalate (PET) polyester. Founded only last month, Repeat is a joint venture set up by Japanese businesses Teijin, JGC and Itochu to pool their relevant expertise....
