Manufacturer of thread and structural components for apparel and footwear Coats Group has a new chief executive. David Paja assumed the role on October 1, taking over from Rajiv Sharma.

The London-based group announced its intention to execute this change in leadership earlier in the year, with Mr Paja joining as an executive board director on September 1 before becoming chief executive one month later. It has now confirmed that this plan is complete.
