Strong start to the year for Vietnam’s shoe manufacturers

In the first four months of 2025, Vietnam’s footwear and handbag exports increased by over 16%, according to its trade association Lefaso.
The country exports 90%-95% of the shoes it makes, with 40% going to the US.
