Covation prepares to launch corn-based precursor for elastane

Covation Biomaterials has sold its interest in Primient Covation, a producer of bio-based 1,3 propanediol (BioPDO), to enable it to invest further in a bio-based PTMEG derived from corn cobs, a replacement for the petroleum-based version.
