Italian mills stretch the possibilities with Roica

Asahi Kasei has unveiled the latest fabrics made with its Roica fibre in partnership with Italian mills and which are on show at Milano Unica this week.
The Japanese group describes the Roica as an “improved elastane” based on its “polymer science”. Roica Colour Perfect are dyeable dimensional stretch yarns; the Roica Resistance family can withstand the effects of chlorine, salt water, chemicals and heat; Roica T550 is a degradable elastane with Cradle to Cradle-Certified Material Health Gold; and Roica EF contains pre-consumer recycled material.
