Sweden proposes PFAS ban ahead of EU measures

Sweden’s ministry of climate and enterprise has proposed a national ban on the use of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in many consumer products.

The ministry said its aim was to put a ban in place in Sweden before European Union-wide restrictions come into effect.
