Viscose and collagen fibre offers skin-friendly solution

A viscose and collagen fibre that offers “silk-like sheen, cashmere-like lubrication and moisture control” is among textiles that will be on display at the upcoming Texworld textile event in Paris (September 14 to 17).

Umorfil is owned by Taiwanese company Camangi and is made of the collagen peptide extract from fish scale and is blended with rayon from wood.

The company says Umorfil Beauty Fibre is polymerized using nano-technology and is skin-friendly, and its properties remain after washing.
