Lululemon CEO resigns
06/02/2018
In a statement explaining his departure, the brand said: “Lululemon expects all employees to exemplify the highest levels of integrity and respect for one another, and Mr Potdevin fell short of these standards of conduct.”
"While this was a difficult and considered decision, the Board thanks Laurent for his work in strengthening the company and positioning it for the future," said Glenn Murphy, chairman of the Lululemon board. "Culture is at the core of Lululemon, and it is the responsibility of leaders to set the right tone in our organisation.”
The company said its board of directors has begun the search process for a “proven and highly-experienced” replacement for Mr Potdevin. In the interim, Mr Murphy and a number of other Lululemon executives will take on additional responsibilities.
