R’adys partners HeiQ for fluorine-free DWR

Swiss outdoor apparel brand R’adys has teamed up with HeiQ to use its fluorine-free water repellent technology in its latest collection.

Its entire shell product range from outer layer to wind stopper will be engineered with Barrier ECO, a bluesign-approved fluorine-free technology for durable water repellency and abrasion resistance.

“When R’adys approached us with their decision to go totally fluorine-free in such a short timeline HeiQ accepted the challenge,” said HeiQ founder Carlo Centonze.

Adrian Ruhstaller, CEO of R’ADYS, added: “I was aware that this would be a steep hill to climb and a bold decision to take, but that is exactly R’adys’ DNA!”
