HeiQ presents enhanced sustainable textile finishes
Textile technology firm HeiQ will launch updated versions of its cooling technology Adaptive at the ITMA trade show, with a version specifically designed for cotton and one for synthetics.

Adaptive has been applied to 300 million consumer products, according to the company, for brands such as Champion, New Balance, Skins and Kjus.

It will also introduce new formulations of its fluorine-free water repellent finish Barrier Eco specifically developed for cotton and polyester.

The Swiss company’s odour control technology Pure will be extended with performance enhanced products, developed to minimise cost, chemical usage and wastewater.

HeiQ’s chief technology officer Professor Murray Height will also give a presentation on ‘water repellency without fluorine – learning from nature’ at the Textile Colourant and Chemical Leaders Forum on  November 14, held in parallel to the ITMA show.

ITMA takes place between 12 and 19 November 2015 in Milan, Italy.
