20/05/2016
Archroma’s Advanced Denim dyeing technology, which has already received multiple awards, allows savings of up to 92% in water, 87% in cotton waste and 30% in energy, compared to a conventional denim dyeing process.
The company also introduced its Earthcolors collection, which includes eco-conscious jeans dyed using agricultural waste. They are available in a range of warm colours which are created using dye synthesised from leaves and the non-edible shells of nuts. Integrated Smart NFC technology ensures transparency and traceability through the supply chain to consumers.
Archroma also presented the Color Atlas, a six-volume set that features over 4,300 new colors on cotton poplin. The colour library is complemented the mobile-friendly “Color Atlas Online” which has a feature allowing the user to capture an image with their smart phone and identify the closest shade in Archroma’s library.
