Snow Peak continues Korean ‘Green Peak’ line
Japanese outdoor brand Snow Peak has released another collection of ‘Green Peak’ accessories in the South Korean market, this time made using Acepora Eco recycled yarn produced from pre-consumer waste generated during the fibre manufacturing process.

Acepora, a “renewed” version of the earlier Acelan textile brand, is the fruit of a collaboration between Seoul-based fibre developers Taekwang Industrial and Daehan Synthetic Fiber, both part of the same group. Acepora Eco holds Global Recycled Standard certification.

The scratch-resistant range consists of various bag styles from backpacks to belt bags in khaki, beige and charcoal tones. An unspecified water repellence treatment has been applied to the shell fabric, local media said, and several articles feature adjustable straps for ease of wear.
