Leadership changes at Oberalp
Italian outdoor group Oberalp has announced a series of managements changes at key positions. A new CEO is taking over today, as Stefan Rainer replaces Christoph Engl, who held this role since 2018.
This past June company founder and president Heiner Oberrauch handed over operations to his daughter Ruth Oberrauch. She had up till then headed LaMunt, one of the few outdoor brands for women only, which she had founded in 2022. Elena Colombo, its sales manager since launch, has been named the brand’s new manager.
The Bolzano-based company owns Salewa, Dynafit, Wild Country, LaMunt, Pomoca and Evolv, and is also a distributor for other sports brands. It has recently added pickleball specialist Diadem to its brand development portfolio, and is the official distributor of Under Armour in Switzerland. Its revenues are said to be upwards of €300 million and to have grown on average 7% from 2020 to 2025.
