Patagonia calls on denim manufacturers to follow its lead

Patagonia has launched a denim collection made from organic cotton which it says moves away from the typically “filthy” production processes. It says its dyeing and manufacturing process uses dyestuffs that bond more easily to cotton, using 84% less water, 30% less energy and emitting 25% less CO2 than conventional synthetic indigo denim dyeing ...
