Lululemon defends intentions in sheer luon lawsuit

The CEO of yogawear company Lululemon has said it is wrong to suggest the company intended to sell its sheer luon pants after a flaw was detected and has asked the US District Court in Manhattan to dismiss a case brought against it by shareholders.

Christine Day said the company "disclosed in real time" its efforts to recall and fix the black pants and did not hope the defect "would remain undiscovered".

Shareholders also accuse Lululemon of concealing plans to replace Ms Day, who will remain as CEO until a successor is found.
