Jeanologia highlights denim customisation for the masses
Spanish denim-focused company Jeanologia is hosting a ‘Denim Playground’ day in Amsterdam to highlight its new Nano customising technology.

The Nano laser is a system for retailers which offers low-cost customisation, according to the company. The company says this will become a strong trend quoting a Massachusetts Institute of Technology study showing by 2020, 20% of consumer textile products will be either tailored or customised.

Using denim from Italy-based Candiani and working with The Amsterdam Jean School, the children will be able to customise their own jeans or denim bicycle seat covers.

The event takes place at Blueprint Fair on April 17 and 18 at the Westergasfabriekterrein
Jeanologia customers include Levi's, Vans Nike, Puma and Chevignon.
