Environmental non-profit Canopy, based in Canada, has announced that its CanopyStyle initiative has now surpassed 500 signatories, bringing total membership to 515 at the time of going to press.

CanopyStyle works to ensure no wood from ancient or endangered forests anywhere in the world is used in the production of viscose fibres. In joining hands, signatories also commit to investing in the design and use of tree-free alternatives, such as lower impact regenerated textile fibres, the organisation said.
