New yarns at Filati Borio Fiore
Italian spinning company Filati Borio Fiore, which specialises in polypropylene-based worsted spun yarns for sport socks and functional underwear, has introduced a new line of flame retardant, antistatic and high-tenacity yarns for protective clothing, including socks and gloves, as well as technical fabrics for various other end-uses.
The new yarns offer a range of benefits including fire and heat protection, thermal insulation, high tenacity and antistatic. They use innovative fibres such as: Kevlar, Panox, Modal and No Shock.
These fibres are either used alone or as a blend, either with another technical fibre, or with more traditional fibres such as or polyamide.
Filati Borio Fiore will exhibit at Techtextil, which will take place in Frankfurt, June 16-18 and A+A, which will run in Düsseldorf from November 3-6.
