Quiksilver Europe announces executive appointments
07/04/2009
Outdoor sports lifestyle brand Quiksilver has announced a series of executive appointments at its European division, which has its headquarters at St Jean de Luz in France.
Pierre Boccon-Liaudet will become the division’s chief financial officer and José Cledera its chief operations officer. They will report directly to Pierre Agnes, president of Quiksilver Europe and to group chief financial and operations officer, Joe Scirocco.
These appointments are effective immediately, with the new executives replacing the company’s former vice-president for finance and operations, Sébastien Loux, who has resigned to pursue other interests after 15 years of helping Quiksilver Europe develop and grow.
Pierre Boccon-Liaudet will have responsibility for all European finance functions, customer service and sales administration. He joined Quiksilver Europe in May 2005 as finance director, having previously held various financial positions at KPMG and Schlumberger in Europe and Asia.
José Cledera will have responsibility for European operations functions and IT. He joined Quiksilver Europe in May 2007 as IT director after several management positions in IT and manufacturing at Motorola and Freescale.
