REI supports cycling initiatives

Outdoor gear and apparel retailer Recreational Equipment Inc. (REI) is offering free entry-level bicycle maintenance classes that include a hands-on demonstration of how to fix a flat tyre and advice on cleaning and lubing chains.
The retail group has taken this step in support of an initiative to encourage people across the US to cycle more, including designating May as 'bike to work' month.
Many REI stores also offer more a range of bicycling classes in which the focus is on how to ride a bike, on the road, for commuting and mountain biking.
