Royals reach agreement with Puma

Sports brand Puma has announced that it will supply kit to Jaipur-based cricket team, and current Indian Premier League champions, the Rajasthan Royals.
“Having the right technical gear and footwear during a 240-minute game is crucial to any cricket player,” said Puma's managing director in India, Rajiv Mehta. “Puma has made apparel and footwear with the player in mind and they have truly proven themselves once again with the new uniforms,” he said.
Rajasthan Royals' chief marketing officer, Mr Raghu Iyer, said in response: “Puma offers our players the best in terms of comfort, yet keeping them high on the style quotient.”
Style is important to the team, which is part-owned by model and actress Shilpa Shetty.
