09/04/2009

Circular knitting machine manufacturer Terrot will be amongst the exhibitors at the forthcoming ITM2009 or Tüyap Fair, which will be held from June 6-10 in Istanbul.

The company has said it will have a wide range of applications and of fabrics knitted on its machines on display.

Specific to the sports and outdoor markets, the company says that it is becoming harder to differentiate between leisure wear and functional sportswear these days and that the demands for materials are "almost the same" in both cases.

Nevertheless, it adds that its technology can offer textile manufacturers a wide range of options, including ultra-modern finished yarns, especially polyester and polyamide as well as cotton, viscose and elastane, and even fibre blends that are important basics for sports fashion and leisurewear.

Terrot points out that its machines are suitable for the production of premium fabrics in different fabric structures such as single-jersey, piqué, mesh, interlock, rib, jacquards as well as rib separation.
