ThermoCool enters the matress market

Fibre manufacturer Advansa has entered into an agreement with Turkish textile producer Boyteks Tekstil to supply its ThermoCool product for mattress fabrics.
ThermoCool consists of a unique blend of multi-channel and hollow fibres inside the yarns to offer consumers—in thos case, sleepers a dual functionality. When body temperature is higher than ideal, the technology provides evaporative cooling, keeping the user cool and comfortable. When body temperature falls, the fabric helps to ensure an adapted level of warmth, keeping the user in a comfortable temperature zone and thermoregulated.
Önder Honi, director of Boyteks Tekstil said on announcing the development: “We are very excited to introduce a high-tech product such as ThermoCool in a new series of mattress ticking. This has already attracted a high level of interest from customers worldwide.”
