DriFire gives rodeo competitors a “leg up”

Several competitors in the Lineman's Rodeo have been keeping cool during the competition by wearing DriFire shirts.

According to the performance shirts and flame resistant garments manufacturer, competitors from Arizona found the shirts more comfortable and more durable than other brands of flame resistant garments.

The physically challenging competition consists of a strenuous pole climb, an injured-man rescue, and two or three mystery challenges that are disclosed the day prior to the event.

"We are so pleased the competitors in the Lineman's Rodeo found that wearing DriFire shirts helped give them a leg up on the competition,” says chief executive officer, Gene Cone, who adds that it “helps the wearer maintain their cool, while providing a superior level of protection against the elements."
