Geox named most dynamic company
Italian investment bank Mediobanca has named breathable footwear brand Geox the most dynamic Italian firm in terms of growth and profitability.
Mario Moretti Polegato, founder and president of the company, was presented the award by the bank’s chief executive officer, Angelo Nagel.
The company won the award on the basis of its 2007 turnover, which reached €700 million. This showed a 126.5% compared with turnover in 2004.
Mr Polegato said he felt really honoured to receive the award and attributed the company’s success to the hard work and dedication of Geox’s workforce.
