BASF at Techtextil

BASF is presenting ideas for innovative technical textiles at the Techtextil 2009 exhibition, which next takes place in Frankfurt on June 16–18. In addition to a variety of textile coating solutions, the chemical company will also focus on electroconductive textiles at the event.
Electroconductive or E-textiles combine typical textile properties such as flexibility, tensile strength and handle with electrical or metallic functions such as thermal and electrical conductivity. Under the name Texapret E, it will introduce a new technology that will enable industrial-scale production of E-textiles.
