A record number of Portuguese textile companies attended the 2009 Techtextil exhibition in Frankfurt.
The Portuguese mission received support from the Portuguese and brought a total of 21 companies to Germany. In addition, Portugal had a collective exhibition called the Nautical Showcase at the event, showing watersports and specialist sailing clothing made in Portugal.
