Russell Europe to close distribution facility

Sports brand Russell Europe is to close its distribution facility at Bathgate in Scotland with the loss of 60 jobs, the BBC has reported.
The company blamed poor economic conditions and said it was moving distribution closer to suppliers and customers. According to the BBC, Germany is a likely location for the distribution operation to move to.
Chief executive Len Marbury said: "We are having to take a very hard look at all of our operations worldwide due to the poor economic conditions we are operating under, as most other companies are."
