Patagonia revamps Footprint Chronicles

Outdoor brand Patagonia has relaunched its Footprint Chronicles. Footprint Chronicles is an interactive website that gives consumers detailed information about the materials and processes involved in manufacturing Patagonia products.
The information available on the revamped site includes the environmental footprint of 166 products, a link to a corporate blog, a discussion section and a new 15-minute video about Patagonia’s social responsibility efforts.
“We believe it’s important for our customers to know the true environmental and social impact of a garment they purchase,” said Casey Sheahan, president and chief executive of Patagonia. “The Footprint Chronicles allows us to do this publicly, and helps our customers make better purchasing decisions.”
