Comfort and protection at Schoeller

08/07/2009

According to Schoeller, its summer 2011 collection is airily light and super comfortable. The motto for the season is “feel-good comfort” regardless of the sporting activity or weather conditions.

Its new two-layer c_change summer membrane comes in various forms including: a shiny honeycomb look in fruity pink, light beige or stone grey; in  subtle lilac or beige matte rip-stop; or with a semitransparent, fine crinkle structure in black or white. It is said to offer reliable wind and weather protection as well as breathability. The firm’s bi-elastic or four-way-stretch aeroshell fabrics can be used for airy-light top coats to flatter the complexion in sporty blue or classic black. Its thin softshell weights set dramatic colour accents with a vibrant red bi-colour effect.

The bi-elastic dynamic two-tone fabrics for trims or inserts are designed to fuse fashion and function. In lush green, classic anthracite sporty red or blue, they offer abrasion resistance and a practical self-cleaning effect because of the NanoSphere finish applied.

Meanwhile, its soft dryskin and dynamic outdoor pants make an elegant statement with a smooth, pleasant feel. Colours include chocolate, olive, cement or night blue. More voluminous, but still soft and supple, microstructures dictate the look of the bi-elastic dryskin. The dynamic, on the other hand, makes a very technical impression with its fine striped look. And, when sunshine or heat is involved, coldblack technology comes into play, keeping dark textiles cooler and providing UV protection in light fabrics.
