Latest trends at Première Vision
A vast selection of new colour and fabric trends will be on show at Première Vision, which takes place in Paris on September 15-18.
According to the show organisers, the autumn-winter 2010-11 season will be full of energy and freedom where everything is possible. Fabrics are designed to passionately stimulate a taste for transience.
Colour trends will include silent pales, mildly faded tones and deep darks with a hint of caustic brights. Acidic chemical shades are diffused by stone and raw concrete colours, while hot-tempered and glamorous reds will be teamed with bewitching ink and tannin shades.
Rudimentary is one of the fabric trends for the season and will include fabrics with rough or industrial aspects, references to fundamental materials and to natural wear-and-tear. Sustainable solutions investing in ecological and socially responsible initiatives will appear throughout and organic fibres including cotton, linen and hemp, recycled naturals and synthetics and environmentally friendly natural dyes will be used. Natural fibres will be blended, for example cotton or linen with wool, alpaca and cashmere. Other features will include raw shine, metallised aspects, meteor shards, mineral sequins and moon rocks.
Other fabric trends named are Nobility To The Test, Excessive and Silent.
