US manufacturer of waterproofing seam tapes to the technical outerwear market Bemis has launched a new seam sealing tape that offers a soft hand and environmental benefits.

ST-804 is specifically designed to waterproof sewn seams on lightweight, two-layer fabrics. It provides a matte finish when sealed and can be used with stretch fabrics, which are being used more and more in the outdoor sector.

The company’s seam tapes are applied to sewn seams on fabrics to prevent water from leaking through the seams. These tapes are designed to seal seams for the life of the garment.
