New textile finishing systems at BASF

German chemicals specialist BASF is launching two new fluorocarbon finishing systems—one offering stain repellent properties and the other providing stain release properties—under the name Lurotex Duo System.

Each comprises two components: a Lurotex fluorocarbon finish based on C6 technology and a Perapret booster to enhance the performance of the Lurotex fluorocarbon finish.

The new technology is designed to protect textiles and clothing from soiling and staining.
