New Singapore store for Li Ning

Chinese sportswear firm Li Ning has opened a new flagship store in Singapore. The new outlet is in the brand new Ion Orchard shopping centre.

According to Lee Yi Shyan, Singapore's minister of state for trade and industry, there is a growing market for sports and lifestyle products in Singapore and in nearby nations.

Reports indicate that Li Ning hopes to open up to 100 retail outlets in Southeast Asia in the near future, including stores across Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia, where demand for sports apparel and equipment is said to be growing. The firm also hopes to expand its influence in Europe and the US.
