New Nurel spinning plant in Zaragoza

27/07/2009

Spain-based synthetic fibres producer Nurel has decided to invest in a new spinning plant at its existing site in Zaragoza.

The investment will allow the company to increase its polyamide 6 and 66 yarns capacity by 3,000 tons per year. Its POY (partially oriented yarn) and FDY (fully drawn yarn) capacity is scheduled to be in full production by the beginning of 2010.

The company has also decided to reinforce its engineering polymers division, concentrating on high-added-value polymers under the Novamid brand.
