Pakistan will announce new textile policy within 10 days

Pakistan’s federal minister for the textile industry, Rana Muhammad Farooq Saeed Khan, said on August 3 that he will announce a new textile policy for the country in 10 days’ time or less.
He said the new policy would address problems textile manufacturers in the Asian country have been facing in recent times.
He explained that the government has announced a programme worth almost $500 million to support export development and that some of this funding will become available to help the textile sector a“benefit of the country”.
