The fourth Asia Outdoor closed its doors on August 2 having achieved what the organisers claimed was “a stunning success”.

Attendance figures for the Nanjing event exceeded 14,000 visitors, including new visitors from new regions.

The number of exhibiting brands was up from 245 to 288. Richard Li, assistant director of the organising company, said: “After five years of the outdoor in China booming it has finally begun to make an impact on second- and third-category cities, all of which are still very big cities, with up to 7 million inhabitants.”
