Lotto picks up prominent Canterbury contract

Deportivo La Coruña, one of Spain’s top football clubs, has wasted no time in finding an alternative kit supplier to Canterbury, after choosing not to stay with the New Zealand sports brand, which managed to find a buyer for its troubled European division at the start of August.

Instead, the club from Galicia awarded the contract to supply its kit to Italian sports brand Lotto.

Star players Juan Carlos Valerón, Manuel Pablo and Juca paraded the new style shirts at a presentation on August 9. The deal with Lotto will stay in place for the next four seasons.
