Football boost will still leave Puma wanting more

Sports brand Puma has said it expects to sell record levels of football clothing and footwear next year thanks to the FIFA World Cup in South Africa, but that its overall results would still be lower than it would like.
“An improvement of the world economy would be a reason for a better 2010. Soccer plays of course an important part, but soccer alone won't be enough," chief executive, Jochen Zeitz, told Reuters.
