The Industrial Fabrics Association International has announced that it will support the sixth edition of the Advances in Textiles, Machinery, Nonwovens and Technical Textiles (ATNT-2009) conference, run by Texas Tech University and the Bannari Amman Institute of Technology (BIT) in India.
The conference will be held from December 7-9, at BIT in Sathyamangalam, Tamil Nadu, India. The organisers say it will bring industrial and academic experts from many parts of the world to deliberate on the latest topics in the field of value-added textiles. For the past five years Texas Tech University has been providing an international platform in the Coimbatore area for exchanging cutting-edge topics and ideas on emerging textile field such as nonwovens, specialty fabrics and technical textiles.
IFAI president and chief executive, Stephen Warner, commented: “We are honoured to be a supporting partner for this important industry conference. IFAI is dedicated to expanding awareness of specialty fabrics and cooperation between international textile companies and organisations. ATNT-2009 is an exciting international forum for idea exchange, collaboration and business partnerships.”
