Adidas claims new technology aids recovery

Sports brand adidas is preparing to launch what it calls "the ultimate recovery apparel", a collection into which it has incorporated its Techfit Tuned Compression technology.
Using seamless melted yarn technology to give high levels of flexible compression on large muscle groups, the technology increases the expulsion of waste (lactate acid) to accelerate recovery by 5.1%, adidas has said, quoting research carried out by the Calgary Human Performance Lab in Canada.
It has designed special zones around the lungs and joints to give the garments greater comfort and mobility.
