The supervisory board at Royal Ten Cate intends to nominate Drs Lock as a new board member at its next shareholder meeting. He has also been appointed chief financial officer (CFO) with immediate effect.
Mr Lock worked for the Netherlands-based firm from 1988 to 2008, his last position being corporate director finance and administration.
Royal Ten Cate produces a range of chemical and textile-related items including protective fabrics, composites for space and aerospace, antiballistics, geosynthetics and synthetic turf. Its four areas of application are sport and recreation, safety and protection, space and aerospace, and infrastructure and the environment.
