Branded lifestyle apparel group VF Corporation is to open a new sourcing office in Bangkok, Thailand, later this month.

Around 100 people will initially be employed at the new centre, although projections suggest up to 300 jobs may eventually be created. The sourcing office will cover both Thailand and Bangladesh.

The California-based firm already has a regional office in Hong Kong. Approximately 700 people are employed at the site.
