Hyosung’s creora brand presented three key textile directions for intimates and underwear—Organic Appeal, Pure Embrace and Treasured—for 2011 during Paris Mode City (September 5-7).

Organic Appeal reflects the continuing pursuit of sustainability and responsibility towards the environment and the influence of this on intimate apparel. Fabric structures range from compact and smooth through to organic-inspired textures. Overall the fabric delivery is soft and pleasurable to wear.

Garment end-uses are intimate apparel, lounge and sleepwear, and seamless apparel for men and women.

The Pure Embrace trend features smooth, compact surfaces for body sculpting shapewear with white-based groupings, cosmetic tones and black to androgynous greys. Compact four-way stretch fabrics are laser cut and left clean for the sew-free technology sector with clean finishes through laser cutting and thermo bonding. Sculpting shapes emerge in contrasting diaphanous qualities with integrated power zones to give extra shape and support.

The garment focus for Pure Embrace is basic shape and activewear, and seamless sleepwear.

Treasured evokes happier times with traditional applications that re-emerge with a new modern twist using modern micro fibres. Classic silk and fine cotton qualities infiltrate, and mouldable lace is also an option. Surface relief is bold and opulent; there is richness to this trend.

Garment end-uses include lingerie, sleep and loungewear.
