Rogers supports Ragnar Relay Series

Athletes running the Ragnar Relay Series will have the opportunity to use Rogers Corporation’s Poron Cushioning technology. The race starts in New Haven on September 11 and concludes in Boston on September 12.

“The Ragnar Relay is a huge event which allows us to share the experience of our product and technology to a great group of athletes,” says Dave Sherman, new business development manager for Poron Cushioning Materials. “Poron Cushioning has grown to be a base product for many products available to runners. Teaming up with the Relay allows us to show our support for a great local event and [to provide] our product to those who participate”.

The Ragnar Relay started in 2004 with 22 teams competing in Utah and has grown to be the largest relay event in the country.  The series has stops in Miami, Austin, Las Vegas and Santa Barbara, among others. The teams comprise 12 members who run three legs ranging between three and eight miles depending on difficulty.

Poron is a microporous polyurethane foam designed to cushion the foot during walking and running. Its shock absorption properties help protect the feet and joints.
