Positive vibe at Interfilière

According to organisers of Interfilière, which ran September 5-7 in Paris, the event was busy throughout and the mood was positive.

While 26.5% of visitors came from France, the remaining 73.5% came from a range of countries including Italy, the UK, Germany, Hong Kong, the US, Spain, Brazil, Japan, the Netherlands and Korea.

Highlights of the show included the Beach Innovation forum, which offered an early overview of beach fabric trends for summer 2011 as well as showcasing ten prototypes, created jointly by Mode City brands and Interfilière exhibitors.

The general forum, entitled Let’s Go Slow, presented a wide range of trends for winter 2010-2011, with a focus on the menswear market. Loungewear and its evolution towards a younger form, received increasing interest at the show.
