Among the new exhibitors at Première Vision are 27 weavers, all of whom are presenting their collections for the first time at the event, which runs September 15-18 in Paris. They were chosen by the show organiser’s selection committee on the basis of rigorous criteria including product creativity, capacity to present original and updated collections, quality of service and financial stability.

The 27 firms represent nine countries (China, South Korea, Italy, Portugal, Taiwan, Thailand Turkey and the US).

All in all, 682 exhibitors from 31 countries are exhibiting at the show, almost flat compared with the February 2009 edition but down 5.2% year-on-year.
