First ever PV award winners announced
Winners of the first Première Vision awards were announced today, the last day of the four-day Paris show.
Japanese textile firm Iwanaka was awarded the Innovation Prize, while Swiss designer Jakob Schlaepfer was presented with the Imagination Prize. Another Japanese producer, Showa, won the Handle Prize, while the Grand Jury Prize went to Italian weaver Ratti.
The jury, led by Véronique Nichanian (Hermès), chose 62 finalists from 700 entries for the autumn-winter 2010-11 season before deciding on the four winners.
The PV awards will take place again in September 2010.
