Filati Borio Fiore exhibits latest products at A+A
Italian spinning mill Filati Borio Fiore is to present its latest products at workwear fair A+A, which will run November 3-6 in
The company has been producing polypropylene-based worsted spun yarns such as Isolfil, Isolwool, Filactive and Spun-fit for some time, mainly for use in functional and thermal underwear, and sports, outdoor and workwear socks.
However, it recently launched a new collection of worsted and stretch broken high-tech yarns for protective apparel including socks and gloves, among other applications. The wide range offers a number of benefits including fire and heat protection, thermal insulation, abrasion resistance and antistatic. It uses Kevlar, Panox, Lenzing FR, No Shock and meta-aramide and modacrylic heat/fire resistant fibres. These fibres are used alone or are blended with more traditional fibres such as wool or polyamide, as well as with polypropylene.
